Judging for All Categories

Judging will take place between approximately November 16, 2020 and December 2, 2020. Judging will consist of (i) an initial round and (ii) a final round. In the initial round of judging, entries will be evaluated on a 100-point scale as follows:

  • A maximum of 20 points for creativity of recipe;
  • A maximum of 20 points for presentation (based on submitted photo);
  • A maximum of 20 points for ease of preparation (e.g., preparation requirements, ingredient sourcing, preparation time, required culinary skills).

The three (3) entrants from each category with the highest point totals will then move on to the final round of judging. In the final round, Sponsor or Sponsor’s representatives will recreate the recipe based on the ingredients and preparation instructions provided by the entrant. Entries will be independently reevaluated on a 100-point scale as follows:

The winner selected for each category will be the entry with the highest point total in the final round of judging. In the event that the entries are still tied, the tied entry with the highest score for the creativity scoring component will be deemed the winner.

  • A maximum of 40 points for quality of photo (e.g., lighting, viewing angle);
  • A maximum of 20 points for originality.
